This exciting show of military skills, pageantry and superb music is one that is always remembered. In Great Britain and throughout the Commonwealth 1977 has a special significance as the Silver Jubilee Year of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's reign. This special significance is reflected in the the programme and music of the 1977 Tattoo which is staged against a backdrop of the Tower of London."
