Formed in 1935 and enjoying an international reputation as a leading exponent of male choral singing, the Morriston Orpheus Choir is in constant demand performing around 25 engagements annually.
The Choir undertakes performances on television, at national and promotional events and provides corporate and after-dinner entertainment. This famous Welsh male voice choir can provide a complete show, including solo artistes. The Choir is also available to sing at weddings.
Performances are on a fee-paying basis with special arrangements for selected charity performances. Contact our Events Manager for further information.
The Morriston Orpheus Choir, often referred to as the ‘Ambassadors of Song’, is probably the most travelled of the Welsh male voice choirs. Over 30 overseas concert tours have been undertaken since 1965. Details
Our website is very popular with our supporters here in the UK and around the world and our secure on-line shop also includes music from prominent Welsh artistes who have performed with the Choir over the years at concerts and / or have competed in our annual MOCSA Young Welsh Singer of the Year Competition.
Individual songs from our CD ‘Un Ydym Ni/We Are One’ recorded under the Morriston Orpheus Choir Label can now be downloaded from our shop at 99p each. Also, this website has now been optimised for use on smartphones and tablets and facilities are available to download the individual songs to these devices.
