And the 2019 Winner is .........

The 2019 MOCSA Young Welsh Singer of the Year Final took place on Sunday 6 October.  A full concert programme by the Morriston Orpheus Choir and three excellent finalists all contributed to a special occasion at the Great Hall of Swansea University's Bay Campus.

The three finalists were:

Osian Wyn Bowen: A 22 year old Tenor from Burry Port, currently studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

Jessica Cale: A 27 year old Soprano from Milford Haven, currently studying at the Royal College of Music.

Ffion Edwards: A 23 year old Soprano from Caldicot, currently studying at the Royal College of Music.

A distingused panel of judges highlighted the high standard of the competition but ultimately they could only choose one winner.
