Hot on the heels of their mini-tours of Taiwan, The United Arab Emirates and Oman, the Morriston Orpheus Choir will perform at the Amman Valley School Hall, Ammanford on Saturday 9th October 2004, commencing at 7:00pm.

The guest soloists will be the popular soprano Samatha Cole who has appeared with the Choir on a few occasions, including this year's visit to Taiwan and Eirian Davies, Baritone who originates from nearby Ystalyfera.

"The Choir has a reputation as Ambassadors of Song for Wales throughout the world", said Gerry Williams of Ammanford, organiser of the concert and a long serving member of the Choir's baritone section. "However the Choir never forgets its roots, and is delighted to be appearing once again at the Amman Valley School Hall".

Morriston Orpheus musical director Alwyn Humphreys said:"It's not all about globetrotting - performing to audiences at home is just as important. We are delighted to be giving this concert, and it is woderful that we have local people performing with us".
