Process and Selection
You should submit your entry on the form below as soon as possible but by Tuesday 1 April 2025 at the very latest.
The Winner and Runner Up will be chosen by a distinguished panel of Adjudicators from audition performances on Sunday 29 June 2025.
This year, the quality and detail in your application will be carefully considered, and may be used as an indicator of your suitability to be accepted into the audition process.
There is an opportunity to provide additional information about yourself in the “Performance Experience” text box on the entry form.
If selected for the audition you will be required to sing two or three contrasting pieces of your own choice.
Each successful competitor will be sent a full explanatory letter giving more details and times of the audition once everything has been finalised.
It is a condition of entry that the Winner and Runner Up will perform, as guest soloists with the Morriston Orpheus Choir, at the Annual MOCSA concert on Sunday 14 September 2025, 4pm in Swansea. All awards will be presented at that concert.
If you have any difficulty with the form or any other query please contact Howie Johnson at competition@morristonorpheus.com
Please note: We understand that in some instances the acknowledgement email we send out on receipt of your entry is being treated as ‘spam’ and ending up in junk mail. If you do not get an acknowledgement shortly after submitting your entry it might be worth a check in your ‘junk’ folder.
