SubjectPershore Concert
Message:There seems so little that we can add to the previous tributes made about the Pershore concert but to reiterate it was a perfect evening in every way and a poignant tribute to Sue and John's son Paul from choir, soloists and everyone who contributed in whatever way.
Thank you.

SubjectAn extraordinary evening in Pershore Abbey. Saturday, 17 September, 2016.
Message:There are concerts and there are concerts. This concert was an extraordinary, fabulous success from so many standpoints.
Organised by John and Sue Fletcher to celebrate what would have been their son’s Paul 40th birthday. It was clear from the outset that the planning was meticulous, the communication superb and an overwhelming feeling of a caring family wishing to share their bereaved son’s special birthday. Well, Sue and John, you succeeded wonderfully.
And to hear your granddaughter, Megan sing ‘Till there was you’ was so poignant. What bravery she showed to sing so beautifully, in front of so many.
The Orpheus were quite outstanding. The acoustics in this ancient place were perfect. And boy, did the choir excel.
The power, the precision and timing were as good as it gets. Joy Amman Davies just goes from strength to strength with her “boys”. This performance ranks as one of their best in recent years.
In a performance that was superb throughout, it is difficult to state which were the finest parts of the overall concert, but I have not heard Gwahoddiad sung better by any choir. It was spell binding. And the Extract from Nidaros was so powerful, it was one of the best “goose bump” moments.
Huw Euron, the bass soloist was a superb choice. What an outstanding performer. What a rich depth to his tone. His rendering of the Paul Robeson classic “Ol’ man river” was mesmerising. Quite superb. And when he combined with the choir to sing ‘You’ll never walk alone’ there was not a dry eye in the house.
As the sell-out audience filtered out into the darkness of the night, full of emotion, we knew we had witnessed something very, very special that touched the soul in so many levels.
So, well done to Musical Director Joy and the boys of The Wonderful Orpheus, Organist Leslie Ryan, Accompanist Ieuan Jones and Soloist Huw Euron for entertaining a sell-out Abbey in such superb style.
But a very special thank you to John and Sue Fletcher and their amazing family.

Message:Just met some of your choir on a trip to Ilfracombe yesterday. They were fantastic - they have to be good to be in the choir let's face it, but two particularly stood out. Your singing made everyone's journey.

SubjectLincoln Concert
Message:My wife and I have just returned from a weekend in Lincoln, where we attended the concert in the Cathedral. What a fantastic performance by such a professional and dedicated choir. Listening to them singing is so emotional, it must make any Welsh person so proud.
We were invited to the reception after the concert, where we were pleased to hear an impromptu bout of singing by them, so we got twice the value for money, fantastic.
The choristers and their wives that we met over the weekend, are such lovely and down to earth people that you could ever wish to meet, and we look forward to another concert.

SubjectAnnual concert
Message:Congratulations to Morriston Orpheus Choir on their Annual Concert peformance on Saturday 16th April.
The new venue of the Grand Hall of the new Swansea University Campus is an excellent building with very good acoustics. The choice of music made what was already a special evening a very memorable occasion. The three Welsh tenors enhanced the celebration with their blend of voices and humour. Many thanks Joy and "the boys" and we look forward to seeing and hearing you in Lincoln.
